One Poem to Catch it All
“One Poem to Catch it All” is a 13 minute film from Campfire Stories about Ben Bushill. The above clip is a short excerpt.
The film is centered around one of Ben's previously unrecorded poems entitled "The One Puzzle". The poem is an attempt to speak to us all, no matter our background, of the wondrous strangeness and simplicity of being a human on planet earth, of how we can reconcile a life full of ordinary moments with the miracle that hides in plain sight beneath the skin of things.
Musical composing/producing duo Thomas Falk and Ellen Molnia have create the soundscape for the film. Ellen and Thomas previously created the music for Ben Bushill's CD "Seeds of Wild Love". It is part "spoken word music video" and part documentary. We'll see a mix of the divine and the mundane; glorious inspirational moments and ... doing the laundry.
The film is directed by Mattias Olsson of Campfire Stories, which is a film platform based in gift economy, where the viewer sets the price for watching.
A Tale from the Woods
This is an excerpt from the film A Tale from the Woods, directed by Mattias Olsson of Campfire Stories.
Film synopsis: “In spite of the forestry industry’s attempts to be viewed as “green”, the sadness in one’s soul at the sight of a clear cut is palpable. Is it really possible to chop down an entire woods and still use labels as “environmental care”? And how does our view of the forest change when we stop seeing it as an economic resource and instead as an invitation to an ecological partnership?”
Ben Bushill is one of the six participants in the film.
